Evada Davenport was born ( b. 2000) in Michigan. In 2022, she received her BFA in Graphic Design

at Eastern Michigan University. There, she also, studied photography and charcoal and graphite work. After university, Davenport decided to take a professional hiatus and now, in 2026, is continuing her

art practice.

Davenport's practice moves between drawing, photography, collage, and painting and is informed

by her background in graphic design. Rooted in observation and a sensitivity to composition, light, and atmosphere, she creates contemplative images that invite sustained looking. Her work often depicts living subjects and environments in quiet, ambiguous moments that resist fixed narratives. Rather than seeking spectacle or explanation, Davenport encourages viewers to dwell within the feeling of a moment and attend to the subtle emotional and atmospheric qualities that emerge through observation.
